Michael writes about the drive of the human spirit to find the light in the darkest hours of our lives, the power of faith and friendship in the face of malevolent evil.

He has published work in national, regional, and local magazines before concentrating fully on writing novels.

Since publication of his first novel, The Dale, in 2025 he has toured all over the Northeast and Midwest. He’s made over sixty tour stops including Detroit, Toronto, Hamilton, Pittsburg, Boston, Buffalo, and throughout New York and New England.

The Dale, has sold well and received excellent reviews.

He was the Queset House Author in Residence for July and, The Dale, has been the subject of newspaper articles, radio, and podcasts in New York and Massachusetts as well as featured on Steve Harper, and NPR’s The Fabulous 413.
